What to expect

From the time you walk through the doors to the time you leave expect people to care that you are here. Our desire is for you to know you are welcome, answer any questions you may have, and help you find a place to call a church home.

It is a relaxed atmosphere and you will see a range of attire from collared golf-shirts to Sunday morning suits. Come dressed comfortably with the understanding that God and your spouse are the only two who should know what you look like without clothes so please dress appropriately for church.

Our pastor preaches the Word of God from the Holman Christian Standard Bible in a mixture of expository and topical sermons. We do have Wi-Fi available for those that like to use Bible apps on their wireless devices. Our pastor also uses his iPad for various illustrations on our screen during the sermon.

Our music at the 11:00 service is traditional Baptist Hymnal music led by a worship leader and a choir. We have both a screen to follow along with and a hymnal for those that like to read music as well as sing it. You will occasionally find a mix of contemporary worship songs at the beginning of service as well as at the Wednesday night fellowship and Bible study.

We do honor the Lord in performing both Communion and baptisms. Communion is the first Sunday morning of every quarter and is open to all those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Baptisms are as frequently as needed. Our pastor loves the pool and is always eager to get in and baptize those that have a desire to follow the Lord in this next step of their relationship with him.
